Godley High School Ladycats captured the varsity girls title at the Waxahachie Life Mustang Stampede on September 19, 2024, at Waxahachie Sports Complex.

Varsity girls placed first in a field of 22 teams running the 3.2k contest, and the junior varsity girls placed third in their division that included 11 schools.  Varsity boys posted a fourth-place finish in their 5k contest with 20 schools competing, while JV runners were second among 17 teams.

Individually for the varsity Ladycats, Stephanie Favela (13:03.85) was third among 170 girls, with Makayla Jetton (13:25.46), Sophia Hodges (13:28.66) and Sadey Hughey (13:33.10) also finished in the top ten.
