Godley High School senior Alyssa Jimenez hit a big milestone during the Ladycats’ home basketball victory over Waxahachie Life on February 2, 2024.

Jimenez finished the game with 1,000 points as the Godley girls continued District 10-4A play with a 79-25 win over the visiting Mustangs.  The GHS senior contributed 17 points to the district victory.

The varsity squad also includes Lexi Abbott, Payton DeFoor, Bree Hubbard, Logan Reed, Trinity Roden, Kinlee Smith, Reese Tennery and Ava Wilson.

Jimenez joins Reed and Hubbard, who hit career hallmarks with 1,500 points and 1,000 points respectively in January.
