Godley Ladycat basketball player Bree Hubbard is on a roll, hitting new career milestones and setting team records as the varsity girls power through District 12-4A action.

With the Jan. 17 win over Alvarado 55-19, Hubbard hit the milestone of 1,000 career rebounds. 

The GHS senior followed up during the Ladycat road win 78-34 over Waxahachie Life on Jan. 21,  becoming the team’s all-time point leader with 1,855 with several games left to go in the regular season before the Class 4A postseason.  She hit 1,000 points last January as a junior with a 19-point showing during a district victory over Alvarado 65-52.

Hubbard earned all-state honors from the Texas Girls Coaches Association the past two seasons.  She also received regional accolades from the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches for those seasons.
