Godley High School HOSA–Future Health Professionals students earned top honors at the State Leadership Conference, held March 24-26, 2026, in Corpus Christi, including a podium finish and the program’s first-ever international qualifier.

Four students represented Godley ISD at the conference.

Reagan Wood placed third in Respiratory Therapy, earning a spot at the HOSA International Leadership Conference set for June 17-20 in Indianapolis.

Additional student participants included:

• Sydnee Applegate – Physical Therapy
• Caylee Price – Medical Law and Ethics

In addition to individual competitions, Bella Van Wart and the Godley HOSA chapter were recognized as a Bronze Level Partner with Carter BloodCare for their work supporting blood drives.

This marked Godley’s first appearance at the State Leadership Conference and its first international qualifier.

Final placement results for events outside the top five have not yet been released by HOSA.

HOSA–Future Health Professionals is a global, student-led organization that promotes career opportunities in the health care industry and develops future leaders in the field.
