Godley Ladycat softball player Saniya Hill earned All-State accolades from the Texas Girls Coaches Association following the 2024 season.

Hill, a senior infielder, was the District 10-4A most valuable player for the season, which saw the Godley girls compile a perfect 10-0 district record and earn a third consecutive district championship.  She was also named a top performer with the 2023 USA Softball High Performance Program.

Last fall, Hill signed a letter of intent to continue playing softball at the University of Missouri, which competes in NCAA Division I athletics as part of the Southeastern Conference.

As the District 10-4A champion following the regular season, the Ladycats advanced to the second round of the postseason with a bi-district win over Fort Worth Carter-Riverside.  The GHS girls fell to Frisco Panther Creek in the area playoff series.
