Students from Godley Middle School and Godley 6th Grade Campus earned numerous awards and top honors at the Cross Timbers UIL Middle School Art Show on May 8, 2026, at the Alvarado ISD Administration Building.

Competing against students from eight different school districts, Godley ISD students received awards across a wide range of artistic categories and mediums. Godley Middle School students were taught by Krista Richard, while Godley 6th Grade Campus students were taught by Kimberly Pannell.

“This event included participation from eight different school districts, making this accomplishment even more impressive,” Richard said. “I am extremely proud of all the students who participated and represented GMS so well. Their hard work, creativity and dedication truly paid off, and we definitely came out on top!”

Eighth grader Ziya Wilson earned the event’s Best of Show honor for the artwork “Heart Acrylic Painting.”
