Godley ISD school campuses have named Teachers of the Year for the 2023-24 school year.

Selected for the campus honors were:

• Godley 6th Grade Campus:  Noah Hancock, band director

• Godley High School:  Alice Brooks, CTE teacher/assistant soccer coach

• Godley Middle School:  Angie Pinkerton, science teacher

• Legacy Elementary School:  Lindsey Davis, fifth grade teacher

• Pleasant View Elementary School:  Laurel Barnes, first grade teacher

• R.B. Godley Elementary School:  Kandace Nors, kindergarten teacher

Through the Teacher of the Year program, the six educators will now be evaluated for district recognition with the Elementary Teacher of the Year and the Secondary Teacher of the Year.

The district will also be recognizing campus paraprofessionals of the year.
