Godley ISD school campuses have named Teachers of the Year for the 2022-23 school year.

Selected for the campus honors were:

• Godley 6th Grade Campus:  Andrea Wood, math teacher

• Godley High School:  Lori Lummus, special education math teacher

• Godley Middle School:  Astrid Jones, content mastery teacher

• Legacy Elementary School:  Bethany Van Wart, first grade teacher

• Pleasant View Elementary School:  Jess Mosier, fourth grade teacher

• R.B. Godley Elementary School:  Hannah Chastang, special education teacher

Through the Teacher of the Year program, the six educators will now be evaluated for district recognition with the Elementary Teacher of the Year and the Secondary Teacher of the Year announced at the Board of Trustees meeting on Apr. 24.
