Godley High School Ladycats and Wildcats won the championship at the Mustang Stampede hosted by Waxahachie Life High school on September 18, 2025, at Waxahachie Sports Complex.

Ladycats placed first for both the varsity and the junior varsity divisions.  The varsity won the meet title among 14 teams with 114 runners, while the JV was first among 10 squads with 148 contestants.

The varsity boys also placed first, besting 13 other teams with 120 entries.  The JV placed third among eight squads featuring 119 runners.
