The Godley Middle School cheerleading squad capped off a successful week at its Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Home Camp, held July 20-22, 2026, at Godley Middle School, by earning a Superior trophy and seeing nine team members selected as UCA All-Americans.

Throughout the three-day camp, the cheerleaders worked with UCA instructors to develop cheerleading fundamentals, leadership skills and team spirit while learning a complete spirit routine. The squad concluded camp with a public performance for family and supporters, where they showcased the routine they had mastered during the week.

The team earned UCA's Superior rating, recognizing its performance and execution throughout the camp.

Nine GMS cheerleaders also earned the prestigious UCA All-American distinction after auditioning during camp. Nationwide, only about 11 percent of cheerleaders who audition receive the honor.

As UCA All-Americans, the students are invited to participate in special national performance opportunities, including the Disney Thanksgiving Day Parade at Walt Disney World, should they choose to participate.

The 2026-27 Godley Middle School cheerleading squad includes Harlow Archer, Camilla Avelar, Liliana Boone, Brinlye Christian, Maci Eddleman, Sistine Grier, Yeltzy Gutierrez, Brynlie Haley, Adalynn Hernandez, Shayleigh Hyden, Hadley Jabri, Chrislynn Jackson, Alisa Jones, Ileigh Kelly, Brooklyn King, Olivia Waters, Karizma Phillips, Ella Paneitz, Whitleigh Powell, Kennedy Romada (Co-Captain), Kherington Romada, Emery Salisbury, Sophia Tidwell, Remington Tilley and Ryleigh Tuomey (Captain).

The following cheerleaders were named UCA All-Americans: Harlow Archer, Brinlye Christian, Sistine Grier, Hadley Jabri, Ileigh Kelly, Kennedy Romada, Kherington Romada, Emery Salisbury and Ryleigh Tuomey.
