Godley Ladycats won the Hamilton Hoopfest basketball tournament on November 21-23, 2024, at Hamilton High School.

The GHS girls posted four victories to win the tourney title.  They beat Clifton 66-31, Lampasas 53-33, Goldthwaite 46-27 and Brownwood 47-35.

The varsity squad includes Nola Briscoe, Kase Grimsley, Lila Heiner, Presley Hindash, Bree Hubbard, Sadey Hughey, Kinlee Smith and Ava Wilson.  

Head coach Mark Chauveaux is assisted by Kristi Mayes and Skyler Warrick as well as athletic trainer Duke Graham. Team managers are Abby Hughey, Abbie Smith and Marleigh Thompson.
