Four Godley High School Jazz Band students qualified for an all-region ensemble during auditions on September 19, 2022, at Lake Worth High School.

Qualifying for the Region 5/30 ATSSB All-Region Jazz Band are Hunter Hardin (bass guitar), Cooper Holzheuser (electric guitar), Julia Roy (trumpet) and Ilana Villa (piano).  All four placed first with their respective instruments and advance to the next round of tryouts.

Holzheuser and Roy both made the region ensemble last year.

Area auditions will be Tuesday, Sept. 26 at Springtown High School, with the region clinic and concert on Jan. 12-13 at Kennedale High School.

The students are led by GHS percussion and jazz band director David Kennedy.
