Godley ISD students and staff will be off of school during Fall Break on October 9-13, 2023.

Students will also have a holiday on Monday, Oct. 16 during staff development.

Cub Club will be open at Legacy Elementary School for elementary students who are pre-registered by Oct. 5. 

In addition, campus offices will be closed during the week.  District offices will be closed on Friday, Oct. 13.

• November 20-24, 2023 - Thanksgiving Break

• December 21, 2023 - January 5, 2024 - Christmas Break

• January 8-9, 2024 (staff development) 

• Monday, January 15, 2024 - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day

• Friday, February 16, 2024 (staff development)

• Monday, February 19, 2024 - Presidents Day

• March 11-15, 2024 - Spring Break

• Friday, March 29, 2024 - Good Friday

• Monday, April 10, 2024 (staff development)

GISD schools will dismiss early for the last day of each semester. Grades PK-6 will dismiss at 11:45 a.m., with grades 7-12 dismissing at 12:00 p.m.  The dates are:

• Wednesday, December 20, 2023 - Last Day of 1st Semester

• Thursday, May 24, 2024 - Last Day of School
