October 2023 is designated as National Principals Month in honor of the work of campus administrators across the state and nation. 

Celebrated every October, National Principals Month is an opportunity to celebrate and honor incredible school principals for their visionary leadership and tireless pursuit of success for each student.

“Our school principals are amazing leaders in Godley ISD,” commented Superintendent Dr. Rich Dear. “As both instructional and administrative leaders, principals work very hard to make our schools work for every student and staff member.”

GISD school principals are:

• Godley Middle School:  Tom Frazier

• Godley 6th Grade Campus:  Stephanie Wynne

• Legacy Elementary School:  Ammie Hill

• LINKS Academy:  Michelle Sveum

• Pleasant View Elementary School:  Dr. Melissa Block

• R.B. Godley Elementary School:  Jodie Dickson

With resolutions adopted by federal and state legislative bodies and proclamations issued by numerous state governors, the national recognition is an initiative of organizations including the National Association of Elementary School Principals and the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
