
The fourth annual Godley ISD Film Festival showcased student creativity and storytelling across all grade levels, with top entries recognized during an awards ceremony April 7, 2026, in the Godley High School Arena presentation room.
Organized by the district’s Career and Technical Education Department, the festival featured original student work from elementary through high school. Categories included narrative and documentary films (five minutes or less), animation (30 seconds to three minutes) and public service announcements (one minute or less). Adult participation was limited to sponsors and advisors.
Entries were submitted from across Godley ISD campuses, including Godley High School, Godley Middle School, Godley 6th Grade Campus, Legacy Elementary School, Pleasant View Elementary School and R.B. Godley Elementary School.
