Godley ISD fifth graders explored new possibilities at the 2026 STEAM Carnival hosted by the Region 11 Education Service Center on March 2-4, 2026, in White Settlement.

The carnival highlights learning opportunities in science, technology, engineering, the arts and math as hundreds of Fort Worth-area students rotate through hands-on activities, student showcases and four themed zones of exploration. The event was filled with discovery, creativity and interactive learning.

Godley schools also participated in the Student Showcase, which featured demonstrations and activities designed and led by students.

Education and training students from Godley High School, who are members of the Texas Association of Future Educators, were among the older students assisting with the carnival.

In addition to Godley High School, participating GISD campuses included Legacy Elementary School, Pleasant View Elementary School and R.B. Godley Elementary School.
