Godley ISD fifth graders explored possibilities at the 2025 STEAM Carnival hosted by the Region 11 Education Service Center on March 5, 2025, in White Settlement.

The carnival focuses on new learning opportunities in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math for hundreds of Fort Worth-area students to rotate through and immerse themselves in hands-on learning, student showcases, and four zones of activities. The learning event was filled with exploration, creativity and discovery.

Godley schools also took part in the Student Showcase, a collection of student demonstrations and activities created and run by students themselves.

Education and training students, who are involved with the Texas Association of Future Educators, from Godley High School were among older students assisting with the carnival.

In addition to GHS, GISD campuses participating were Legacy Elementary School, Pleasant View Elementary School and R.B. Godley Elementary School.
