Logo Title

Three Godley High School students in HOSA–Future Health Professionals are advancing to state competition after excelling at fall and spring contests during the 2025-26 school year.

HOSA students compete against peers from across the region in future health care career fields such as respiratory therapy, sports medicine, nursing assisting and more. Top performers at the area level advance to state competition and may ultimately qualify for the HOSA International Leadership Conference.

State qualifiers from Godley High School are:

  • Medical Law and Ethics: Caylee Price
  • Physical Therapy: Sydnee Applegate
  • Respiratory Therapy: Reagan Wood

Price qualified during the Area 5 Fall Leadership Conference last October, while Applegate and Wood advanced at the Area 5 Spring Leadership Conference in Killeen last month.

The State Leadership Conference is scheduled for March 24-26 in Corpus Christi.

Founded in 1976, HOSA is a global, student-led organization whose mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people.
