Godley High School golfers won first place with both boys and girls teams at the District 10-4A tournament on March 26, 2024, at Mansfield National Golf Club. 

The boys scored 374 to best all squads at the district tourney, edging Kennedale finishing at 382.  The team was led by Max Blair (84), who placed first individually.  Others were Tripp Karnes (95), JD Johnson (96), Kyle Black (99) and Madix Herron (102).

Also capturing the district title, the Ladycats placed first with a team score of 450 ahead of second-place finisher Alvarado (541).  Madelynne Fitzgerald was the top golfer with an individual score of 102.  Others on the squad were Bailee Barbaro (104, second), Cale Boyles (123, fourth), Bree Hubbard (121) and Sady Williams (132).

A second boys team scored 445 and included James Allen (109), Grant Herron (110), Wyatt Burke (111), Hagan Robertson (115) and Jarret Ilich (118).

Competing as individual medalists for the girls were Carmen Galofaro (128, fifth), K. Gomez (134) and Alyssa Hallak (140).  Medalist for the boys was Dax Tanksely (128).

Godley golf coach is Jason Hill.

Both teams advance to the Region II-4A tournament at Van Zandt Country Club in Canton. The boys tourney is Apr. 15-16 followed by the girls on Apr. 17-18.
