Two Godley High School baseball players have been recognized among the state's top performers after being selected to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association (THSBCA) Class 4A All-State Second Team.

Rising seniors Tabor Anderson, a first baseman, and Braxton Spohn, a catcher, earned all-state honors following standout junior seasons that helped lead the Wildcats to another successful postseason run.

The THSBCA All-State teams are selected by baseball coaches from across Texas and recognize the top players in each UIL classification.

The honors add to an impressive spring for the Godley baseball program. The Wildcats advanced to the area round of the UIL Class 4A playoffs and continued to build on the program's recent success.

Godley also received additional postseason recognition when junior Gio Molina earned selection to the North Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association Class 2A-4A All-Star Game at Riders Field in Frisco.

With Anderson, Spohn and Molina all returning for their senior seasons in 2027, the Wildcats will look to build on this year's accomplishments and continue competing among the state's top Class 4A programs.
