Godley High School announced students who rank in the top 10% of the graduating Class of 2026, recognizing their outstanding academic achievement, dedication and commitment to excellence throughout their high school careers.

AJ Garcia-Robles and Azul Sanchez will represent the senior class as valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively.

The remaining students in the top 10% are Bella Van Wart, Nola Briscoe, Lila Heiner, Trynity Lively, Ryley Wallis, Brooke Brannum, Jimena Minero-Jimenez, Lexi Tyler, Camryn Hamacher, Keegan Bohannon, Logan Wilson, Ashley Ballweg, Calleigh Brewer, Tripp Karnes, Kinlee Smith, Carmen Galofaro, Reagan DeLeon, Rylie Graves, Austin Merritt and Halle Gross.

“These students have set a high standard through their dedication, character and hard work,” said Kurtis Flood, principal of Godley High School. “We are proud of their accomplishments and excited to see all they will achieve in the future.”

Students in the top 10% will be honored at a breakfast in early May.

Godley High School will hold this year’s graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 21, beginning at 8:30 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium.

The top 10% recognition reflects years of hard work in the classroom and involvement in school and community activities.
