Godley High School golf teams both captured team championships at the North Side Invitational on March 3, 2026, at Meadowbrook Golf Course in Fort Worth.

The Wildcat Purple team finished first overall in the boys division. Team members included Kyle Black, Landon DeLeon, Jaxon Hill, JD Johnson, Tripp Karnes, Austin Merritt and Dylan Mourning.

Senior Austin Merritt led the Wildcats with an impressive round of 75, earning a second-place individual finish in the tournament standings.

The Ladycats also secured the team championship in the girls division. Team members included Makinley DeFoor, Maddie Fitzgerald, Carmen Galofaro, Ryleigh Hillis, Jimena Jimenez, Marleigh Thompson and Sady Williams.

Senior Maddie Fitzgerald paced the Ladycats with a round of 85, finishing second overall individually.
