Godley High School golf teams delivered a dominant performance at the District 12-4A tournament, sweeping first- and second-place finishes in both the boys and girls divisions March 30-31, 2026, at Mansfield National Golf Club.

The sweep continues a strong tradition for the program. Godley also swept the district tournament with all four teams advancing last year, and the Wildcats and Ladycats have now captured district championships for several consecutive seasons.

Highlighting the tournament, Jaxon Hill captured the individual district championship for the boys, while Maddie Fitzgerald earned individual district champion honors for the girls, leading strong overall performances by both programs.

All four Godley teams — two boys and two girls — qualified for the Region II-4A tournament at Sulphur Springs Country Club. The boys regional tournament is scheduled for Apr. 13-14, followed by the girls tournament Apr. 15-16.

Godley’s Purple team claimed the district championship with a two-day total of 623 (317-306), while the Gold team finished as district runner-up with a 747 (382-365).
