The Godley High School girls golf team competed in the UIL Class 4A State Golf Tournament, held May 4-5, 2026, at Legends Golf Course on Lake LBJ in Kingsland.

The Ladycats posted a two-day total of 791, improving by 27 strokes on Day 2 with a team score of 382 after opening with a 409 on Day 1.

Godley was led by Maddie Fitzgerald, who recorded a 193 with rounds of 106 and 87, including one of the team’s top performances on Day 2.
