Godley High School varsity and junior varsity girls won the championships at the 26th Ken Gaston “Race at the Lake” cross country invitational on September 29, 2022, at Lynn Creek Park in Grand Prairie.
The varsity girls placed first among 27 teams that included 217 runners, while the JV squad won top spot in a field of nine teams and 114 girls.
Top runners posting results among the top twenty in each race were: varsity girls - Stephanei Favela and Sadey Hughes; varsity boys - Junior Trejo; junior varsity girls - Lila Heiner, Mackenzie Hillis, Peyton Bower, Nola Briscoe, Cameron Galofaro, Veronica Duran; junior varsity boys - Angel Montalvo.
