Godley FFA student leaders were highlighted at the Chisholm Trail District convention on April 16, 2025, at Joshua High School.

Klara Pinkerton, a sophomore, was elected district first vice president, with Tucker Clark elected as district reporter.

The two will help lead the 18 schools and 4,505 FFA members in the Chisholm Trail District comprising Hill, Hood, Johnson and Somervell Counties.  Chapters included in the district are Alvarado, Blum, Burleson, Burleson Centennial, Cleburne, Cornerstone Christian, Covington, Glen Rose, Godley, Granbury, Grandview, Itasca, Joshua, Lipan, North Central Texas Academy, Rio Vista, Tolar and Venus.

Other students recognized were:

  • Klara Pinkerton:  advancing to area with Sheep Production Proficiency Award
  • Nola Briscoe, Taryn Franks, Lila Heiner and Logan Wilson:  advancing to area with Lone Star degrees

Voting delegates from Godley at the district convention were Campbell Armstrong, Nola Briscoe, Kaegan Carter, Evan Culbertson, Eli Dickson, Bradley Fancher, Hayden Flood, Taryn Franks, Camden Hinton, Bear Lynch, Payton Massey, Zane Simmons, Zach White, Emma Wilkes and Logan Wilson.

The Area VIII convention will be held on May 5 at Joshua High School.
