
Godley FFA members compiled an impressive list of accomplishments during the 2025-26 school year, earning state-level recognition, advancing through leadership and career development contests, securing scholarships, exhibiting successful agricultural projects and serving in leadership roles at the district and area levels.
The chapter also celebrated the installation of its 2026-27 officer team, which will lead one of the area's most active agricultural education programs. New officers are President Tucker Clark, Vice President Klara Pinkerton, Secretary Zane Simmons, Treasurer Madison Fry, Reporter Barrett Lynch, Sentinel Hayden Flood, Parliamentarian Allyson Ainsworth and Historian Dylan Brown.

The chapter also recognized outgoing officers President Lila Heiner, Vice President Tucker Clark, Secretary Klara Pinkerton, Treasurer Logan Wilson, Reporter Campbell Armstrong, Sentinel Nola Briscoe and Parliamentarian Taryn Franks for their service and leadership during the past year.

- Ava Jackson was elected Chisholm Trail District first vice president.
- Tucker Clark was elected an Area VIII FFA officer.
- Klara Pinkerton advanced to state competition in Sheep Production Proficiency and Star Lone Star Farmer.
- Taryn Franks was recruited to compete in collegiate livestock judging at Howard College.

Supervised Agricultural Experiences
Godley FFA members continued a strong tradition of livestock exhibition and agricultural projects through their Supervised Agricultural Experience programs.
The chapter exhibited 121 projects at the Johnson County Junior Livestock, Youth Fair and Ag Mechanics Show. Thirty-three exhibitors qualified for the premium sale, earning more than $96,000. Members also competed at the State Fair of Texas, Heart of Texas Fair, Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, San Angelo Stock Show, San Antonio Stock Show, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and Austin Livestock Show.
Degree Advancement
Lone Star Degrees
Six Godley FFA members qualified to receive the prestigious Lone Star FFA Degree, the highest degree awarded by the Texas FFA. Recipients were Keagan Carter, Tucker Clark, Klara Pinkerton, Emma Stuck, AJ Welch and Cheyenne Williams.

Ruby Norr received the Star Blue Award as the outstanding Junior FFA member in grades 3-4, while Boyd Mabry received the Star Gold Award as the outstanding Junior FFA member in grades 5-7.
Honorary and Appreciation Awards
The chapter awarded Honorary FFA Degrees to Jeremy and Christa Heiner in recognition of their years of support and service to Godley FFA and agricultural education.
Kristin Armstrong, assistant principal at Godley High School, received the chapter's Appreciation Award for her continued support of FFA students and programs.
