Godley High School golf teams dominated with first-place individuals at a March Madness tournament on March 23, 2023, at Mansfield National Golf Club. The girls were first, while the boys team finished second.

The Ladycats captured the tourney championship led by first-place winner Emma Tyus, who shot a low score of 88.  Other squad members were Kelsey Harris (97, second), Dallas Lane (102, third), Bailee Barbaro and Marleigh Thompson (116).

Competing in the boys division, the Ladycats placed second. Colin Price was the top individual player with finish of 68. Squad members were John David (90), Wyatt Burke (94), Dax Tanksley (94), Max Blair (97) and Camden Darder (113)

Both teams will be back at the Mansfield course for the District 10-4A tournament on Mar. 27-28.
