Godley High School cross country teams excelled at the Waxahachie Life Mustang Stampede on September 21, 2023, at Waxahachie Sports Complex.

Varsity girls placed first in a field of 17 teams, and the junior varsity girls also won their division that included nine schools.  Likewise, the varsity boys posted a first-place finish in their 5k contest with 16 schools competing, while JV runners were third among 10 teams.

 

 

Individually, Stephanie Favela (12:13.79) was the first among 137 girls in the varsity run, while Hayden Jenkins (19:24.86) was tops in the JV boys’ race featuring 95 runners.
