Godley High School cheerleaders earned a national bid after placing sixth at the NCA North Texas Regional competition on November 16, 2025, at Rockwall Heath High School, kicking off their competition season with a strong showing.

The GHS squad will advance to the NCA High School Nationals, scheduled for Jan. 23–25, 2026, in Fort Worth.

The Game Day Varsity Medium division challenges teams to combine a band chant, cheer, fight song and a situational response into a three-minute performance, highlighting how spirit programs enhance the game-day experience and rally the crowd.

Leading the squad are All-American Captain Marleigh Thompson and All-American Co-Captains Peyton Bower and Sady Williams. Team members include Hannah Baxter, Kennedy Black, Harlee Brown, Mackenzie Crawford, Britton Everroad, All-American Brooke Gallagher, Cali Harrington, Tessa Heath, Tynlee Moore, Laney Mullins, Leighton Murphy, Hinley Owen, Saylor Pahanish, Katie Ponce, Raelyn Revland, Dezy Reyes, Laina Reynolds, Maddilynne Schlick, Ava Siddall, Abbie Smith, All-American Paola Valenzuela, and Paetyn Young. Sonnet Grier serves as the All-American mascot, Wacky the Wildcat.
