Godley High School boys golf earned a berth in the UIL Class 4A State Golf Tournament with a third-place finish at the Region II-4A Tournament held April 13-14, 2026, at Sulphur Springs Country Club.

The top three teams advanced to the state tournament. Mabank won the regional championship with a two-day total of 580, followed by Sulphur Springs at 597. Godley secured the final qualifying spot with a 623 total.

Godley opened the tournament with a 307 on Day 1 and followed with a 316 on Day 2.

Godley Gold finished 12th overall with a two-day score of 714 after rounds of 353 and 361.

The Godley girls team will compete in the regional tourney on April 15-16.

The UIL Class 4A Boys State Golf Tournament will be held April 27-28 in Kingsland at Legends Golf Course on Lake LBJ.
