The Godley 6th Grade Campus Student Council has earned statewide recognition through the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association Student Leadership Award program for the 2025-2026 school year.

The award recognizes outstanding PK-8 student leadership teams across Texas for their positive impact on school communities through leadership, service and school engagement initiatives.

The student council was recognized for its leadership and service, which included participation in the TEPSA Leadership Conference, organization of a school dance fundraiser, support of community outreach efforts such as Angel Tree and elementary campus visits, welcoming new students through orientation activities, and assistance with campus responsibilities throughout the school year.

Student council officers are Emerson Roady, president; Maci Eddleman, vice president; Brielle Harper, secretary; Emilee Marski, treasurer; and Remington Tilley, historian.

Additional members include Harlow Archer, Cason Atchley, Golden Baker, Liliana Boone, Easton Cormier, Dalton Damron, Layla Devillier, Lake Farley, Ashley Gallagher, Sistine Grier, Makynzee Hensiek, Briana Herrera, Kinley Hulsey, Kate Johnson, Stella Keller, Reagan Lancaster, Ramsey Logan, Londyn Loosely, Olivia Malbasa, Olivia Meurer, Asher Norr, Nila Pinnell, Kennedy Romada, Kherington Romada, Lynleigh Tarwater, Finn Van Wart and Jaycee Walley.

Student council sponsors are Breyana Martin and Kimberly Pannell.

According to TEPSA, 167 student leadership teams from across the state were selected for the honor this year. “In Texas public schools, students are not only active participants but also trailblazers for positive change in their schools and communities,” TEPSA Executive Director Harley Eckhart said in the organization’s announcement.

TEPSA has served PK-8 school leaders since 1917 and represents more than 6,000 members statewide. The organization has trained more than 40,000 Texas students through its Student Leadership Workshops since 1999.
