Twenty-seven Godley Middle School seventh and eighth graders were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society during an evening ceremony on April 10, 2025.

The students joining NJHS are:  

  • 8th Grade:  Caleb Applegate, Kai Bunch, Aiden Peace, Emma Bryce Reed, Annalise Tennison
  • 7th Grade:  Ifeoluwa Adedoja, Addison Barnes, Silas Brawley, Ariiyana Cantrell, Gracie DeFoor, Lola Geisler, Wyatt Goudy, Jadyn Hutt, Wyatt Ivy, Landry Kamm, Logan Ogle, Kolton Pinkerton, Ander Pitcock, Brandylin Reo, Makenna Robinson, Wyatt Shannon, Piper Sosebee, Gracie Souther, Nash Staton, Peyton Tanksley, Blakely Thompson, Max Van Wart

Founded in 1929, the NJHS is a worldwide organization that recognizes and encourages academic achievement while developing other characteristics essential to citizens in a democracy.  Students are evaluated by the five values of citizenship, service, leadership, scholarship and character.  They must maintain high grades and become good citizens through participation in service projects.

NJHS sponsors are Kristin Armstrong and Angie Pinkerton.
