Twenty-seven Godley Middle School seventh and eighth graders were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society during an evening ceremony on February 9, 2023.

The students joining NJHS are:  

  • 8th Grade: Cameron Bellamy, Kyle Black, Isaac Christensen, Krew Crites, Klara Pinkerton, Steven Reaves, Raelyn Revland, Rylie Robertson

  • 7th Grade: Campbell Armstrong, Yulissa Arteaga, Kennedy Black, Benjamin Brannum, Kinzlee Durham, Madison Goudy, Cali Harrington, Kaden King, Grant Lawson, Madison Leonhardt, Aleiannah Mendez, KyndleMykah Meshell, Jordan Minter, Weston Reaves, Abbie Smith, Hadlee Taylor, Jack Van Wart, Emma Wilkin, Kerighan Wilson

Founded in 1929, the NJHS is a worldwide organization that recognizes and encourages academic achievement while developing other characteristics essential to citizens in a democracy.  Students are evaluated by the five values of citizenship, service, leadership, scholarship and character.  They must maintain high grades and become good citizens through participation in service projects.

Opening the ceremony was NJHS president Emma Lindamood.
