National Junior Honor Society members from Godley Middle School participated in a campus beautification service project on May 12, 2026, helping clean and improve areas around Godley Middle School, Godley High School and The WILD.

NJHS students worked throughout the afternoon picking up trash, cleaning sidewalks and removing gum residue from walkways around The WILD and surrounding facilities. Students also cleaned areas along Purple Lane and near the agricultural facilities as part of the effort to help maintain the appearance of the campuses.

National Junior Honor Society recognizes students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, character and citizenship. The campus cleanup project provided students with an opportunity to serve their school community while helping maintain a welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors.

The project was organized by NJHS sponsors Angie Pinkerton and Kendra Hoschler.

NJHS students will next assist with the Godley Founders Day celebration on Saturday, May 30.
