Godley Middle School boys took charge at the Cross Timbers Conference cross country meet on October 8, 2025, at Brock High School.

Wildcat seventh graders won the championship in the district contest, which also featured runners from Alvarado, Brock, Decatur, Glen Rose and Stephenville.

Sergio Martinez (12:54.27) finished second individually to lead the Godley team. Also in the top 10 were Bentley Sherry (12:59.47), fourth; Jude Mourning (13:14.47), fifth; Hudson Dudley (13:47.96), eighth; and Dax Wall (13:52.89), 10th. Others competing were Kallen Beck, Noah Brunick, Harrison Dowdy, Isiah Santillan, Townes Chauveaux, Harlin Martsolf, Fabian Arvizu, Carson Carr and Kensington Aceves.

Eighth grade boys were runners-up in their division. Medalists were Jorge Gurrola (11:46.85), third; Kasyn Barrientos (11:49.66), fourth; and Dominic Walker (12:30.20), seventh. Also competing were Axel Green, Aiden Neal, Wyatt Shannon, John Switzer, Ronin Tiefenbruin, Gavin Damron, Tristan Hillis and Logan Ogle.

GMS seventh- and eighth-grade teams for the Ladycats both finished in fifth place. Seventh-grade runners included Aliza Sanchez, Ellie Stark, Alyssa Stokes, Kylie Rangel, Crystal Flores, Sophia Tidwell, Aliana Loera, Hannah Anderson, Autumn Harp, Lynnlee Makovy, Makayla Hoyt, Giselle Olalde, Carsyn Cholico, Bailey Bishop and Lauren Pedigo. Eighth-grade competitors were Bella Garza, Gracie DeFoor, Maddox Hill, Avery DeLeon, Addaleigh Perez, Rilynn Pevsner and Embrey Carroll.
