Godley High School theater arts students are busy preparing for UIL one act play competition with the stage play “The Actor’s Nightmare” during Spring 2023.

Following parent preview performances on Feb. 4, director Christine DuBose finalized casting for the production.  Students will attend clinics on Thursday, Feb. 16 at Argyle High School and Tuesday, Feb. 21 at Joshua High School.  The troupe will perform at the contest at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at Kennedale High School.

Cast members include Haleigh Allen, Isabella Antonetty, Brooklyn Day, Sage Klint, Noah Knepper, Lilliana Martin, Vianney Martinez, Anina Sargent and Kathryn Tucker. In the ensemble are Isabella Antonetty, and Anina Sargent with each serving as alternates along with Tori Grantham. Also participating at the parent performances was Ahla Ayesha.

Directing are DuBose along with Shiann Reese. Also working on the production are crew members Tori Grantham, Jamie Kniat and Hannah Smith.  

The play is written by Christopher Durang.
