Godley High School students put their creativity, craftsmanship and business knowledge on full display during the Spring Vendor Fair held May 1, 2026, in the GHS Arena.

The event, organized by students in the entrepreneurship program, featured a wide variety of student-run booths offering handmade goods, custom artwork, food items, services and live demonstrations. Community members attended throughout the day to shop local, support student businesses and connect with young entrepreneurs.

Building on the success of a similar Winter Festival Vendor Fair earlier this school year, the spring event continued to highlight the innovation and initiative of GHS students. Each booth represented a student-created business, giving participants real-world experience in product development, marketing, customer service and financial transactions.

Attendees had the opportunity to explore unique products, enjoy food and music, and support both student and local entrepreneurs.

The entrepreneurship program is housed inside The WILD (Wildcat Innovative Learning Destination), Godley ISD’s four-story career and technical education facility at Godley High School that features more than 40 specialized learning spaces and student-run enterprises. Among those is Shop The WILD, the campus school store, where students gain hands-on experience managing inventory, marketing products and operating day-to-day business functions.

The program of study is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to plan, launch and manage a business. Through hands-on experiences like the vendor fair, students learn how to analyze business opportunities, develop business plans, assess financial feasibility and promote products and services.

Students in the program work closely with local industry leaders, community members and educators to refine their ideas, develop business models, build brand identity and, in many cases, launch operational businesses before graduating.

The Spring Vendor Fair served as a culminating experience for many students, demonstrating not only their academic learning but also their readiness to apply those skills in real-world settings.
