Five Godley High School students were inducted into the National Honor Society of Dance Arts during an induction ceremony on April 27, 2028.

Students inducted into the honor society included Victoria Aarestup, Alyson Collazo, Ruby Collazo, Cindy Lorenzo and Jessye Tout.

“These ladies have met the national requirements in all three components of the National Honor Society of Dance Arts: academics, service and performance,” GHS dance coach and honor society sponsor ReEtta Roever said. “The current members work each year to maintain their GPA, service and performance hours with the goal of graduating with honors by their senior year.”

Founded in 2005 by the National Dance Education Organization, the National Honor Society of Dance Arts recognizes outstanding artistic merit, leadership and academic achievement in students studying dance in public and private schools, dance studios, cultural and community centers, performing arts organizations and post-secondary education programs.
