Thirty-two Godley High School students were inducted into the National Honor Society at a ceremony on May 13, 2025.

Selection was based on the four criteria of the organization:  scholarship, leadership, service, and character.  Students must have a high cumulative grade point average as well as the recommendation of the faculty.  Membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments but challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service.

Inductees were Reagan Brooks, Isaac Christensen, Britton Everroad, Brett Fancher, Briggs Flood, Taryn Franks, Brooke Gallagher, Halle Gross, Jimslad Gyamfi, Kori Iglehart, Ava Jackson, Jardiel Jimenez, Hayden Keeton, Braely Lee, Glenn Leevy, Emma Lindamood, Ethan Marski, Vianney Martinez, Julyssa Ortiz, Klara Pinkerton, Katie Ponce, Ethan Quinteros, Raelyn Revland, Kinzie Riney, Isabella Salmeron, Cy Tennery, Lexi Tyler, Blake Weeg, Cheyenne Williams, Logan Wilson, Katy Wrisley and Samantha Young.

GHS seniors receiving their graduation stoles were Kane Albee, Samantha Andersen, Alyssa Castillo, Michaela Davis, Gianna Demetres, Jackson Duke, Christian Gonzalez, Rylee Harbin, Makenzie Hillis, Emily Holton, Bree Hubbard, Landon Lawson, Kenadie Martin, Tyson Melson, Cristian Pallares, Bradey Thomas, Dakota Watson, Caitlyn White and Ava Wilson.

Each student must complete service in the community.  The group assists a number with several community organizations and school functions.

Founded in 1921, the NHS is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students.  More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning.
