Twenty-three Godley High School students were inducted into the National Honor Society at a ceremony on April 25, 2023.
Selection was based on the four criteria of the organization: scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Students must have a high cumulative grade point average as well as the recommendation of the faculty. Founded in 1921, the NHS is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning.
GHS advisor for the honor society is Adrian Gonzalez.
