Seven Godley High School students competed in an innovative state contest at the Technology Student Association conference on April 3-5, 2025, at the Fort Worth Convention Center.
Competing with the Godley team were:
- Debating Technological Issues: AJ Garcia-Robles and Kori Iglehart
- Dragster Design (CO2 Car): Tyson Melson
- Fashion Design and Technology: Kimora Goffer and Trynity Lively
- Forensic Science: Connor Abbott and Reagan DeLeon
- Prepared Presentation: Reagan DeLeon
The students advanced from regional competition held in February at La Vega High School in Waco.
With the motto “Learning to Lead in a Technical World,” TSA fosters personal growth, leadership and opportunities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Members apply and integrate these concepts through co-curricular activities, competitions, and related programs.
