Six Godley High School students competed in an innovative state contest at the Technology Student Association conference on April 4-6, 2024, at the Fort Worth Convention Center.

Andrea Aguilar and Bryanna Morales led the Godley contingent with a seventh-place finish in the Debating Technological Issues event.

Also competing with the Godley team were:

• Debating Technological Issues:  AJ Garcia and Kori Iglehart

• Extemporaneous Speech:  AJ Garcia

• Forensic Science:  Connor Abbott and Reagan DeLeon

The students advanced from regional competition held in February at La Vega High School in Waco.

With the motto “Learning to Lead in a Technical World,” TSA fosters personal growth, leadership and opportunities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).  Members apply and integrate these concepts through co-curricular activities, competitions, and related programs.
