Six Godley High School students are advancing to an innovative state contest after placing at the Technology Student Association regional conference on February 9, 2024, at La Vega High School in Waco.

Placing for the Godley team were:

• Debating Technological Issues:  AJ Garcia and Kori Iglehart, first; Andrea Aguilar and Bryanna Morales, second

• Extemporaneous Speech:  AJ Garcia, first

• Forensic Science:  Connor Abbott and Reagan DeLeon, fourth

With the motto “Learning to Lead in a Technical World,” TSA fosters personal growth, leadership and opportunities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).  Members apply and integrate these concepts through co-curricular activities, competitions, and related programs.

The TSA state conference and competition is Apr. 4-6 at the Fort Worth Convention Center.
