Godley High School seniors Ryan Gambino and Kade Sundheim announced plans to continue playing football in college during a signing ceremony on February 9, 2024.

Gambino will be attending Minot State University in Minot, North Dakota.  The Beavers compete in NCAA Division II as part of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.

Meanwhile, Sundheim is headed to Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls.  Also competing in NCAA Division II, the Mustangs are members of the Lone Star Conference.

Following the 2023 season, Sundheim was named District 4-4A offensive lineman of the year while Gambino was a first-team honoree as left tackle.
