Godley High School theater arts students competed in the UIL One Act Play contest, performing “The Arkansaw Bear,” on March 26, 2026, at Kennedale High School.

Earning All-Star honors were Isaac Tello and crew member Des Croan, while Anna Tennison received honorable mention recognition. The honor marks the second consecutive year Tello has been named to the All-Star Cast.

Cast members included Lathyn Ashley, Landon Brady, Chloe Coggin, Jordyn Davis, Calix Dziesinski, Addeline Gaenslen, John Gillard, Gavin Johnson, Somara McDonald, Khira Reznicek and Maddie Scrivens.

The production was directed by GHS theater teacher Christine DuBose. Crew members included Kira Cutway, Abby Harrell and Sam Moore.

The play was written by Aurand Harris.
