Godley High School theater arts students competed in UIL one act play competition with the stage play “The Marvelous Playbill” on March 27, 2025, at Hillsboro High School.

Receiving All-Star honors were Isaac Tello, a junior, and crew member Jessi Merritt, a senior.  Honorable mention recognition went to senior Noah Knepper.

Rounding out the cast were Mya Arevalo, Rylie Bax, Landon Brady, Jonathan Castellon, Chloe Coggin, Calix Dziesinski, Nevaeh Guinn, Bobby Head, Bella Salmeron, Leila Tran and Ruby Villegas.

Directing was GHS theater teacher Christine DuBose. In addition to Merritt, also working on the production was crew member Gavin Johnson.

Set in 16th century Spain, the play is written by Tim Kelly.
