Godley High School junior Isaac Tello performed his take of Frank Sinatra’s “My Way" at the first-ever Johnson County’s Got Talent event on February 20, 2025, in Cleburne.

Tello was among eight students representing Johnson County high schools at the musical contest.  The GHS junior was the winner of the local GHS talent show held back in November.

Hill College sponsored the competition in partnership with JumpStart of Johnson County, a local charitable organization that raises money to award scholarships to fund dual-credit course costs for students attending Johnson County high schools. Through taking such courses, students receive both college and high school credits.

JumpStart scholarships, which were first awarded in 2019, provide dual-credit opportunities at Hill College to students otherwise unable to afford them. The event awarded scholarships to competing students and also raised money for the awarding of future scholarships.
