Godley High School Indoor Percussion capped its 2026 season with a strong performance at the North Texas Colorguard Association Percussion Championships, placing seventh among 14 ensembles on April 11, 2026, at Forney ISD’s The OC.

The ensemble’s show, titled “The Rise of Medusa,” featured a powerful blend of music, movement and visual storytelling, highlighting the group’s growth and competitive success throughout the season.

Godley built momentum throughout the spring, earning a bronze medal at the NTCA contest Feb. 7 at Rowlett High School and continuing to improve through subsequent competitions leading into the championship performance.

Ensemble members are Fin Adedoja, Caleb Applegate, Victor Arvizu, Bella Atwood, Paiton Bailey, Rylie Bax, Valerie Botello, Dylan Brown, Miley Cassio, Evan Culbertson, Hayden Flood, Raul Garcia, John Gillard, Tucker Holzheuser, Korbin Howard, Nick Jackson, Brystal James, Nightly James, Makayla Jetton, Glenn Leevy, Brooke Lynch, Hudson Marks, Ailea Martinez, Dax McCarty, Jordan Minter, Isabelle Ortega, Caylee Price, Jay Sillivan, McKinley Simmons, Hayden Smith, Mac Stokey, Dex Swiger, Leila Tran and Mason Vallejo.

Indoor percussion is a performance ensemble that combines marching percussion instruments with coordinated movement and theatrical elements to create an engaging, high-energy production.
