Katie Ponce, a Godley High School cheerleader, participated in the Orlando Thanksgiving Tour on November 21-24, 2023, at Walt Disney World in Florida.

The GHS freshman performed with All-American cheerleaders at the Magic Kingdom on Thanksgiving Day.

Ponce was one of five GHS cheerleaders to receive All-American honors at summer camp in July at Texas State University in San Marcos.  The others were Peyton Bower, Brooke Gallagher, Catherine Whitfield and Sady Williams.  

The tour was sponsored by Varsity Spirit, which is the worldwide leader in all things spirit – including cheerleading, dance team and performing arts apparel, educational camps and competitions – and has been the driving force behind cheerleading’s dynamic transformation into the high-energy, athletic activity it is today.
